Event Waiver & Release of Liability

This waiver is required for all attendees participating in Ladies of Disasters events, programs, networking functions, charitable activities, and sponsored gatherings. By registering for or attending any Ladies of Disasters event, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Assumption of Risk

Attendees understand and acknowledge that participation in Ladies of Disasters events may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, accidents, or other unforeseen incidents.

By attending any event, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks, injuries, losses, damages, or expenses that may arise from your participation.

2. Release of Liability

You hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Ladies of Disasters, including its founders, officers, directors, members, sponsors, volunteers, employees, agents, representatives, venues, and affiliates, from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, causes of action, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your attendance or participation in any Ladies of Disasters event or activity.

3. Medical Authorization & Emergency Care

In the event of an emergency, you authorize Ladies of Disasters and event representatives to obtain emergency medical treatment on your behalf if deemed necessary.

You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of treatment or care received during or after an event. Attendees are encouraged to maintain adequate personal health insurance coverage.

4. Photography, Video & Media Release

By attending a Ladies of Disasters event, you grant permission for photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and other media captured during the event to be used for promotional, marketing, social media, website, educational, or organizational purposes without compensation.

If you prefer not to appear in media content, you must notify Ladies of Disasters in writing prior to the event or indicate your preference during registration when available.

5. Code of Conduct & Professional Behavior

All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and appropriate manner at all times.

Harassment, discrimination, disruptive conduct, inappropriate behavior, or violations of the Ladies of Disasters Code of Conduct will not be tolerated. Ladies of Disasters reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee from an event without refund if behavior is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or harmful to others.

6. Personal Property

Ladies of Disasters is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unattended personal belongings during any event or activity. Attendees are responsible for securing and monitoring their personal property at all times.

7. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By registering for, attending, or participating in any Ladies of Disasters event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms outlined in this Event Waiver & Release of Liability.
