Monica James is an accomplished insurance and disaster industry professional with more than 12 years of experience in claims, restoration, engineering, and business development. As a dedicated leader within the engineering industry, she is committed to ensuring teams deliver professional, responsive, and effective support throughout the claims and disaster recovery process. As Co-Founder and President of Ladies of Disasters, Monica is passionate about building genuine connections and creating opportunities that empower, support, and uplift women both personally and professionally. Through leadership, collaboration, and community involvement, she is committed to helping women grow, succeed, and make a lasting impact within their industries and communities.

Crystal Gordon

Vice President & Co-Founder

Crystal Gordon is an experienced business development and marketing professional with more than 28 years in the insurance, property claims, and restoration industries. She specializes in building strong relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and connecting clients with solutions that support successful claim outcomes. With expertise in insurance claims, mitigation, contents restoration, reconstruction, and property loss services, Crystal works closely with carriers, adjusters, property managers, and industry partners to deliver exceptional service and results. Her passion for relationship-building, industry education, and client-focused solutions has made her a trusted resource throughout the claims and restoration community.

Erin Harrington

Secretary & Co-Founder

Erin Bramblett is a restoration and mitigation professional with more than 18 years of experience in the property damage industry. A former business owner, she spent 12 years helping build and operate a multi-million-dollar restoration company, specializing in business development, operations, and client relationships. As co-founder of Ladies of Disasters, Erin is passionate about empowering women through networking, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities within the restoration and disaster recovery industry. A proud mother of three, Erin is dedicated to leadership, community involvement, and helping others build meaningful connections and lasting success.

Monica Parrott

Treasurer & Co-Founder

Monica Parrott brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience in fire, water, mold and contents restoration. Having worked her way from field operations into management, she has developed extensive industry expertise along with a strong passion for building lasting relationships. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, she has established herself as a respected leader and treasurer of Ladies of Disasters. Monica is passionate about empowering women to grow their careers, develop their leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact within the industry. She is committed to fostering professional growth, mentorship, and opportunities for the next generation of leaders.

Our Founding Vision

When Monica James, Crystal Gordon, Erin Harrington, and Monica Parrott first came together, they quickly realized they shared more than careers in the insurance and disaster industries—they shared the desire for genuine connection, support, and community among women in their field.
