Ladies of Disasters was not created overnight it was built through genuine connection, support, and shared experiences between four women in the insurance industry: Monica James, Crystal Gordon, Erin Harrington, and Monica Parrott.

In an industry that moves fast and demands so much, we naturally became a support system for one another sharing knowledge, talking through claims, giving advice, celebrating victories, and helping each other through the difficult days. What started as simple conversations quickly became something much deeper.

We realized we weren't just networking we were building a sisterhood.

A space where women could openly share information, encourage one another, collaborate without competition, and grow both personally and professionally. A place where success is celebrated, support is genuine, and connections are meaningful.

That realization inspired something bigger than the four of us.

We created Ladies of Disasters to extend that same sense of community to women across the insurance and disaster industries. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where women can connect, learn, lead, give back, and empower one another through shared experiences, professional development, networking, and charitable outreach.

Because when women support women, incredible things happen.
